12 weeks old. 3 whole months of my life spend loving this girl in place of her mama. Tonight was her last bottle, and I’m not going to lie - I cried. A lot. This sweet girl got me through lockdown, saving my sanity most days. I got up and got going for Winnie. I fought for her through a nasty illness that nearly took her when she was only a couple of days old. I championed for her when the big pigs got mean in the pen. I celebrated her first frolic in the pasture and helped her see that outside isn’t scary. I love this sweet little girl. I’m going to enjoy watching her grow up from a distance now. And the day that she becomes a mama herself, you had better believe I am gonna love my sweet mooing grand babies just as much. I cannot thank Cait and Tony @rerootfarm enough for allowing me to care for their orphaned baby for them.
