Cam smiles, doing his best to be polite despite his rapidly sinking mood. “Maybe. But really I just didn’t hear you calling for me to hold the elevator.” He twirls the bud of a headphone between his fingers, the music having paused for the past few moments. “I can apologise again if you really want.”
hojun is lazy, lazy as fuck in fact, but it doesn’t mean he’s incapable of making an effort -- physical or otherwise -- when it matters. someone being a little shit to him definitely counts as one of those moments, so he hauls himself into the staircase just behind the elevators, skipping three steps at a time and making it just in time to the next level of the building to catch the sliding doors, the palm of his hand smacking the cold steel. he’s still panting heavily when the male inside talks to him and despite the urging need for oxygen, hojun still manages to give him one of his best, most vile glares, absolutely unimpressed.
“somebody could fucking commit a bloody murder next to you and you wouldn’t notice,” he snarls, catching a glance of himself in the elevator’s mirror; he looked like an absolute mess after that impromptu chase, which funnily enough matched the way the entirety of his day has looked like so far just fine. he gave himself a moment to consider the other’s offer before speaking up again, “i do. actually, fifty times may do it. with the last five on your knees, begging for forgiveness.”
