if u think abt it when two of them visit an almost infinite series of connections are made. capheus is seeing riley while riley is seeing capheus and he is also seeing riley seeing him and vice versa. with that you could see it like two mirrors facing each other. thats on top of also FEELING everything between them and being in the two locations. with all eight of them together its gotta be a trip to experience all that.

i had actually thought abt this while watching that scene! my theory was it was riley drinking the tea itself. and that the visual interaction between her and capheus was just their shared mental projections. so from an outside perspective shes talking to herself and drinking the tea as if someone else is. does that make sense?

yes it does !! i think it’s just the way i always kind of see it as sharing and visiting are different things, so in my mind i always kind of forget you can do both at the same time you know? and because things move so quickly there’s little things i just never picked up on but this totally makes sense
