i've just finished reading lacrimore and i could gush about how gorgeous your description was, how intriguing the themes are for a history nerd like me, how much i damn love your choice of names,,, but i can boil it all down by saying whenever sivre mentioned her /wife/ i was unreasonably happy. and i may have cried just a little when [SPOILERS] she met minah in lalichai's room.

Aaaa I’m so glad you liked the names! I spent a lot of time just...saying sounds aloud to try and string together fantasy names that all sound like they’re coming from a similar region and have a specific cadence to them. I’M.....RATHER PLEASED WITH THEM.

Also...yes...it’s My worldbuilding so why would I make it Heternormative PAH. So glad you enjoyed! Thank you so much for your kindness!

jesse: a slight hint of smoke, and a crackling fire!

casey: petrichor and freshly baked bread :) 

what their favorite smells in the world are

this is going to sound so cheesy but it’s each other :’) although if you asked jesse he’d say the smell of whiskey 

what pajamas they wear/what they wear to sleep in

jesse: depends on how warm it is, but usually just soft pants 

casey: he’s too self conscious to sleep without a full shirt and pants, like a loser 

my favorite ship (if applicable) and a cute hc about them

jesse/casey IS my favorite ship and my cute hc about them is that they sleep all curled up together, bodies fitting together like puzzle pieces. even when they’re apart, they’re in the same positions they’d be in if they were together :’)

death. in the same way that an animal will fight tooth and nail to stay alive. maybe it’s because they’ve been alive so long that anything else is terrifying. jelle knows what it’s like to be alive, truly alive, and the last thing they want is to lose that.
