My brain works visually so I have so. Many ideas for how the lighting of certain arthurian scenes is handled as if thats a thing that is ever handled in those books but its so physical and means something to me ..... okay .............
here’s another attempt of doing different versions of classic and iconic movie monsters, this time, i decided to do: “The Phantom Of The Opera”(my mom’s fave movie monster of all time) and yep, mine’s more based, not only on the word “Phantom”(which i took literal inspiration of, and made this character an Esprit Vengeur(vengeful Spirit) but also used some of the aspects of fire(as seen in some of the posters) but except of it being a chandelier accident, it was an attack of arson, via a lit torch thrown to the stage...
(upcoming text from deviantart page:)
so yep, here's another version of an iconic monster, this time being the phantom of the opera(my mom's favorite monster) (also, sorry if there is an unintentional reference to avatar with one of the burn marks on erik(the phantom) that was something i accidentally did when trying to make the burn marks) so my version of the phantom/Erik, is tragic, once an opera singer who got married to christine, he attracted a lot of attention for his talent, one of which was from christine's(the main female protagonist) ex-boyfriend Raoul(the main male protagonist in the story) so one day, raoul dropped a torch and set the opera house on fire, and was able to act scared so well enough, that christine was convinced, however... Erik was trapped, and became one of the victims who died in the fire, his angered spirit becoming "THE PHANTOM" a vengeful spirit, waiting to strike raoul down and take back christine(hence why the phantom wanted to have christine, all for himself) p.s this phantom does have a mask(i'll try my best to make it, but it's basically half of a broken tragedy mask, and a quarter of a comedy mask. the phantom of the opera was created by: Gaston Leroux
edit: finally gave this boi a theme song
theme:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D66_NiTJSTc
btw, the song is “The Ghost of You” by: My Chemical Romance
Not another long serial. Just another five-parter like the Shore with my usual play-on-words mixed with a smidgen of horror.
Dicking about with the comic styling as well today. Trying a font that scales better than Courier and trying to create a bit of synergy between the image and story.
Cheers to Warren for the continued $10 Patronage. You can find me on Ko Fi, Patreon, Etsy, Amazon, Skillshare and Threadless.
here she is - some doodles of camila vargas, a midwife or a god´s hunter as some call her
she is a 30 years old woman who specializes in killing or hunting fake gods nd bringing to life the real ones , as one truly evil fuck , she has no pity in no one , being kids or adults , right now she is looking for her nephew who will give birth to a blood god that will change humanity forever and she has to help in the birthing process, hurting or killing of course the ones that denied the birth lol
another thing , she constantly bleeds from her right shoulder , that is why the bandage and her rifle is called charlie
i will give more info on her world later
