Inspired by #OrsonSquireFowler's 1854 book "A Home for All", Boston locksmith Enoch Robinson constructed Somerville's #RoundHouse in 1856. . It’s been awhile since we’ve seen one in the wild, but happened upon this #octagonhouse walking around Provincetown’s West End. Developed by #OrsonSquireFowler, Octagon homes began popping up in the 1850’s and were meant as a more idealized use of space.
