A New Father
Anyone get the feeling that the Pride is reminiscent of ORT MEYER
I mean its there:
Only seems proud if you do something right
Berates if you do it wrong
Voice kinda similar (minor thing tho)
Ort meyers final lines in C47 is about PRIDE (im so proud of you)
His whole character was pride in his experiments
I mean I have a feeling that this might be the case but ya know.
please tell me where exactly the journal (diary) of Ort-Meyer appeared on the network. I would like to find the source if possible
The source is IO Interactive.
They posted it on their official Silent Assassin website which no longer exists, but I have a copy.
plz show us your copyyyyyyy that'd be dope
Sure, here’s the site archive link.
Click through the different years to get Ort-Meyer’s diary entries.
I was re-reading my ask about fetal 47 and it brought something else to mind: I bet 47 was hella cute as a baby/fetus. (Yes, I'm a weirdo that thinks fetuses are cute.) How do you think Diana would react to 47's baby pictures, similar to how she reacted to his kid picture? (I bet he got a little bracelet with his number on it as soon as they got him out of the tank and dried him off. You know, the ones that feel like paper but are actually plastic and are hard to get off without scissors.)
Probably! According to Ort-Meyer’s diary, number was also tattooed on the back of his head from birth, although the barcode was not added until Jan 1975 (when 47 was 10 years old).
I think Diana would be fascinated by any pictures from 47′s childhood. She’s certainly thought about it a great deal, but the picture Edwards gave her seemed to be her first real insight into 47 as a child. Recovered files from Ort-Meyer’s asylum may not have included childhood photos, although adult photos existed, such as the ones below.
It’s clear that Diana really wants to help 47, and wants him to understand and reconcile himself with his past. Seeing pictures of him as an innocent child must shake her a little, considering who 47 is now and what he has become. I think seeing things like that only strengthens her resolve to find out the truth for him.
Do you ever wonder what happened to the other 47s, if they ever existed? If our 47 is individual 47 of series 4, there might be individual 47s of series 3, 2, 1. I know the answer is probably "They're dead" but still
Probably “they’re dead” lol
Personally, I feel like the earlier series of clones didn’t get that high in numbers. We know from C47 that many of the earliest clones, let’s say series 1, were used for organ harvesting. We know that Ort-Meyer did not perfect the use of 47 chromosomes until 47′s “class 01″ series 4. I could be wrong, but I feel like 47 was the only 47.
The image of 47 standing under a tap got me thinking: who potty trained the clones? Who taught them to read? And with what? Old copies of Guns and Ammo?
I kind of assume that the institute (and later labs) had a full staff. Cooks, teachers, etc. Ort-Meyer’s notes indicate that 47 was friendly enough to the staff, except the doctors. He hated the doctors.
So this suggests to me that other staff operated there as well. Probably not a lot of people, as this was a secret operation. But they might have believed they were working for a government programme or something covert. Or, they were assholes too lol
