i have returned because the hour of witchcraft and demonic practices is upon us! (aka it’s 3 am and im bored, this is kinda what you get for providing that small validation that someone finds me funny)

“au where the bats find out danny is a clone of one of them” except plot twist it’s the other way around and actually they’re the clone of him! the only one from the Original pre-ellie batch to survive since they were made just from his human dna, and once vlad realized he had succeeded in making a living clone baby, but they didn’t have powers or anything, he got rid of the baby where they then ended up going through a natural (or not if cw was involved) portal that landed them in the past, where they were adopted and raised under the belief they were actually related to their parents, only to flash forward to the future where basically every bat has experience with clones or whatever, when if that portal led to the same world they match up with danny’s time again and if it was a different world danny ends up in that one by chance, and they come across danny in gotham, assume clone cuz literally identical, get his dna somehow and test it, find that it’s a match except for some corruption/nonhuman substance (danny’s ecto) that they assume is just cuz he’s not a perfect clone or something, but when they do as bats do and stalk and or interrogate him about it, it is eventually learned that “hey plot twist this 24 year old looking dude is actually your template/original/technical father”

for obvious reasons this wouldn’t work for damian, duke, or any of the girls, and i feel it couldn’t work as good for dick since like, he was born specifically to be made the perfect talon so him not actually being his parents kid wouldn’t work, which leaves tim and jason, both have comedic potential, and it could explain something for each! for jason it could explain why he came back, and for tim it could explain why he is eternally 17! either way im imagining that danny’s reaction is basically “eh sure why not, new family (exact relationship to be determined based on how they want to view it, or fluid like ellie and his)” and then he basically just calls ellie and goes “ay ellie turns out you have a brother he’s- how old are you? … he’s 17(or 20 if it’s jason) and his name is (tim or jason)”

I think the interesting part of this is what happened with Vlad.

Vlad Masters core pulsed with need. He wasn't as foolish as some believed, just...obsessed. Invisible chains keep tugging him back to the hopeless desire for Maddie, the boy.

Vlad punches a wall. The blood sample recovered from his last fight with Danny nearly fallen off the counter. A deep breath allows him to focus.

The science is theoretically simple. Take the egg he stole from a fertility clinic, fill it with dna extracted from Danny's blood, place in the artificial womb and bam! He should have his own personal Danny to raise up from scratch. A family of his own.

The ecto enhanced cloning process was fast, but something wasn't right. The clone wasn't forming a core. It was human...He stared at the baby with disgust. His core shudders at this hollow version of his boy. With a new plot forming in the back of his mind, he opens the door to his portal, tossing the failed experiment through to the realms.

Clockwork clutched the little baby with a hum. The realms always did have a sense of humor about his distant past...he shuffles through the timelines and universes, settling on a potential failsafe for his favored boy. In a universe of heroes and gods, a young nursing student would find an abandoned baby in an alley.

All is as it should be.

What is up with public bathrooms? Like, have you seen the places that make disabled people go to the back of the building to use the bathroom? Like what is up with that?

They collect the DNA you deposit so they can CLONE YOU. Do NOT use public restrooms or your clone WILL REPLACE YOU.

I recommend places like the woods, a bush, or a fountain (the coins in it disrupt your DNA and create imperfect clones)

One one hand, I think if someone cloned me my clone and I would hang out and get along.

On the other hand, there’s no one I hate more than myself. So who really knows?

if they are able to extract genetic information from king tut’s mummy and clone him would the tut clone have an inflated ego due to the legacy of his predecessor? just like how the facedancers created paul baron harkonnen, and evil paul clones, all of which were shaped by the knowledge of the history of their previous lives?

there’s no way he wouldn’t. would it be considered unethical to restrict this knowledge? would it be unethical to tell him???? the bioethics will haunt me for days
