Venting
I know you are overwhelmed. I know you are stressed with school.
I get that … I really do. I am too!
But, I really just want to do Something with you! Anything.
I’ve ran out of suggestions. I’ve resorted to walking with you to your classes. I don’t even walk to my own classes! I try to avoid that at all costs and ride my motorbike.
Alas, it’s the only thing we do together now other than going to Walmart for groceries. Sure, it is nice, but it isn’t the same.
I am trying to find ways to do different activities with you. So when you—even though you say you want to do something with me but won’t say yes to any suggestions or think of something yourself because you say you need to do homework—take nap for an hour and a half instead of doing something with me or doing homework? Then go to the library for the rest of the night?
It makes me sad. It makes me frustrated. It makes me feel undervalued. It makes me feel down right angry! Why don’t you understand that?
Please! Let’s do something fun. Anything but stay inside watching TV or having me watch you do homework.
I can only walk my dog so many times to kill the remaining hours of the day somewhere other than inside.
Please … Can Riley come back out and play?
