{{ My thought process during the making of a new custom ‘species’ for Monster Hunter: Garogaron, a domesticated 4-meter-long variant of the Nono and Kamu Orugaron wolf pair from Monster Hunter Frontier.
I usually try not to mingle with Frontier Monsters, but I needed guard dogs for Vernon’s house (he’s probably made quite a few enemies, so he prefers to be cautious) and the Orugarons were really good candidates... So I gave in.
Garogarons are probably bred in very few places, far away in the eastern Wyverian lands. Their domestication is too recent for many breeds to have been created, so the only available breeds would mainly be guard dogs and the like. They aren’t suited for life indoors. Their barks are nastily loud because of their genetic background. And their bites even nastier.
They can be taught basic commands, and learn to tolerate the presence of some people after a time of familiarization. Despite this, it is not advised to let your Poogie run around the house if you have Garogaron guard dogs }}
