I know a lot of people talk about how the fourth wall disconnects kdj from kdjcom through his face being blurred, but i’m surprised nobody has pointed out how they are literally seeing kdj how readers picture characters in a novel.

His face isn’t completely gone, people can still picture him, but they can only distinguish the vague shape of his eyes and mouth, similar to how readers are only given simple descriptions of characters and are forced to fill in the blanks ourselves with our memories, kdjcom have to fill in those blanks of kdj to picture him.

yknow i know we all love the motif of walls in orv but ive never really seen anyone make the connection of each wall with his life pre-scenarios…

The fourth wall is obviously meant to be the wall between him and yjh

The unidentifiable wall is the screen between him and the author (only being able to send messages to the author anonymously through it)

The wall that divides good and evil being the prison wall between him and his mother

The wall that divides samsara is a little more complicated but. in my mind at least it’s essentially the wall separating life and death. possibly the hospital walls after his attempt?
