Universal Exchanges

What is known by Dupless-Nubelian Jupiter Drop scientists as a “universal exchange” is when people from one universe are dropped into another. The word ‘exchange’ does not necessarily mean that someone from Universe 2 will go to Universe 1 in return.
It is theorized that universal exchanges are much more common than what is scientifically observed. This is due to how unstable the Dropverse is. It is for this reason - among others - that multiverse observers consider the Dropverse “unsalvageable”; as in, any damage done in these universes is left to fester.
People who are aware of universal exchanges actually enjoy speculating who is and isn’t a universal exchangee. This is mostly with celebrities and other public figures.
A similar phenomenon - people known as “outliers” - are also sometimes observed. These are people who claim to have memories from a universe that is not the oney they are currently in. Outliers are usually anecdotal in nature and are difficult to scientifically prove the existence of. Outliers are also connected to the species Mandelia peregrinus.
Notable examples of universal exchanges are Magdalene & Phoebe Roth, Rumi Omori, Danya Marks, Ellery Ellerose, Naoto Nakamoto, Oyibo Otieno, and Hyacinth Honeychurch. In drawings, universal exchanges may sometimes be seen in a different art style.
Those who are able to hop universes willingly, through science or magic, do not count as universal exchangees. The term used for those individuals are “universe hoppers” or “universal travelers”. Universal exchanges happen without the exchangee’s knowledge or consent, and often happen through magical universal anomalies. Naoto Nakamoto is a notable exception, as his displacement happened due to technology.
