The Osbourne 1 portable computer, 1981
Name That Computer: Round 2
spinneretsystems replied to your photo “Round 2! Can you name all of these systems?”
Commodore SX-64, IBM PC Convertable, Osbourne 1, Compaq Portable, HP 9285?, Not sure, TI Silent 700 series.
Once again, Spinneretsystems wins out of all the responses.
However, on the third shelf, the left machine is an HP 9825A not a 9285, but I will count that. The one on the right side that you didn’t get is a Tektronix Model 31 Electronic Calculator.
If you’re wondering why Lee Felsenstein signs computers that way.
I wish I could find the tech who serviced this Osbourne I in 1984 just so I could shake them and scream “KEEP TRACK OF WHICH SCREW GOES WHERE POINDEXTER” directly into their face
What part of “an incorrect upper screw may puncture the drive harness” did you not understand
Time to install those floppies.
