jessica liked to think that she was beyond jealousy. maybe it was because of her age or something else. she knew that oscar and her had been going so good. she didn't think that anything could change that and so far nothing had. that was before he had been doing press with elvira for the documentary they had done together. it meant that suddenly elvira was more involved in their lives than she had been. she got along with his ex wife, but them being together constantly? it had started to grate on the redhead's nerves.
what had tipped the scales in the wrong direction, was overhearing a phone call. she had been about to head into the bedroom to ask oscar if he wanted to attend a show with her. one that a close friend of her was in, but then she heard him. she felt like a teenager eavesdropping, but she didn't know what else to do. she squeezed her eyes shut as she tried to figure out what to do. all of the kids were home with them, she could hear them in the living room.
