The 92nd #Oscars® Sunday, Feb 9, 2020. Who will win The Best Director of a feature film? In 2019 #AlfonsoCuaron received the #BestDirector for #Roma at our #DGA, Directors Guild of America. Cuaron went on to receive the Oscar for Best Director (but not for Best Picture.) This year, the coveted Award went to #SamMendes for movie #1917film. The DGA Award has traditionally been a great barometer for both Best Director and #BestPicture #Oscar #AcademyAwards. Only 7 times since the DGA Award's inception has the DGA Award winner not won the Academy Award.
