this is meant to be a more laid-back monthly challenge to help you design a character and come up with lore for them! think of it like a mixture of art, designing, and writing!
feel free to tag posts with #oscctober if you choose to participate:)
these prompts can either be brainstormed individually, or you can ask others for their input and ideas!
feel free to skip prompts or change the order if something interests you more than something else (id recommend at least doing ~the first 7 in order, and then going crazy with it)-📻
prompts:
1. object (what object will your character be?)
2. color pallet (decide on some colors you think would work best with your chosen object)
3. how many limbs/limb type (no arms? four limbs? maybe theyre like a centipede creature…)
4. any silly traits? (anything you’d like to add that may stray away from what the object actually is, like tails, paws, and ears)
5. moodboard (design a moodboard with your character in mind!)
6. accessories (does your character wear any accessories?)
7. draw your oc’s design (now it’s time to combine all your prior design details into your character’s final design!)
8. name (name your character!)
9. age, sexuality, pronouns (come up with a vague bio for them!)
10. positive trait (what’s something that makes them a good person?)
11. negative trait (what’s their fatal flaw?)

14. favorite food? (whats their favorite snack? do they need to eat?)
15. hobby? (what do they like to do in their free time?)
16. what would their social media username be?
17. what object show would they be from, if any?

20. what is their MBTI? (try taking a personality quiz from THEIR perspective!)
21. what’s their favorite season/holiday?
22. what existing osc character(s) are they most like?
23. draw them with an osc character!
24. what is their dream job?
25. would they be more likely to be a host, contestant, or staff?
26. make a non-object variation of them! (humanization, furry, etc.)
27. design a drink or food based off of their design!
28. what would their stats be in a video game? (defense, offense, agility, intelligence, luck,,,)
29. draw them somewhere they DONT belong (where would your object be least likely to be?)
