I always loved the towns and settlements in Horizon, so it shouldn't be a surprise that I took some time to photograph merchant stalls around the HZD. This is not a complete set, I'll take some more as I progress on the game :3

I love the detail and variety of the stalls - all the food and craftsmanship of each tribe is just 👌🏻

I can’t help but have a quite odd Horizon headcanon;

- I know that most of the fandom and the developers considers the Oseram the  ‘ dwarves‘ of this universe. However, I consider them more the ‘Vikings’ of this universe. Since I’ve played Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, every time I hear a Viking folk song I can’t help but think of the Oseram. They somewhat remind me of this northen european culture. I wouldn’t put my finger on it but certanly this tribe gives me these vibes.

I also think that they do a Viking style funeral, that’s how I imagined to be Ersa’s burial and then they bury the ashes and then they get drunk to give a memorial to that person.

So yeah, If I have the headcanon that the Carja resembles the Celts, the Oseram certanly resembles to me the Vikings.

Late night Headcanon:

The Oseram have their last names like in the Scandinavian regions in Europe, especially Iceland. The Ealdorman have found it out in an Old Glyph, so sometimes they use this as their last name until they get a job or a title.

An example that comes in my mind, for males, is Olin. Since he's known as Olin Delverson, and It doesn't change for the English sound. It changes a bit for females and I'll take as example my half Carja and half Oseram OC: Mirana.

Mirana is known with two names in the Sundom and in the Claim. Both as Sharpblade Mirana and also as Mirana Ingelberddottir. In English It does sound quite different.

I think that It suits the Oseram so much, in my opinion :3
