her head popped up from the stone wall as she spied the guy walking down his path. she blinked profoundly as she quietly stalked him, following his every move. she wasn’t sure if he was just stupid or genuinely could not figure out that she was following him. young erzsébet reached for her back to pick up an arrow; her fingers tracing along the stem of her weapon and adjusting it on her bow. her fingers let go of her weapon, intentionally missing roderich as a way to grab his attention. 

with green eyes observing his moves, she quickly jumped over the wall; tackling him on the path and rolling him over to the side. laughing along the way as she couldn’t help but enjoy this moment of aggression. once they landed in plain ground, zs continued to laugh as she rubbed the dirt off her body; bending over to give a kiss to the man’s forehead, a dirty and messy one but nonetheless filled with admiration. 

“ you hear ? i’m leaving . . . for very long time. ” she huffed trying to catch her breath and speaking her best in his language as she possibly can. “ i am . . . miss you. do not die when i’m gone,  i want . . . kill you . . . first. ” she teased, before rolling off of him and smiling in his direction. “ good friends always , yes? ”

“ well , you’re extra clingy today . ”

Julia stands slumped forward against Roderich’s back, her cheek resting on his head and her arms hanging loosely on either side of his neck. She’s only half-awake, working her way out of a long nap on a cushioned bench out in the parlor. Under her nose, his hair smells faintly of shampoo mixed with his afternoon tea, both warm and sweet. After a few deep breaths to spare him the bellow of an obnoxious yawn, she moves to settle her chin into his shoulder and links her arms around him. The time is 3:00PM.

“I wouldn’t have to be if you’d just taken a nap with me. I’m always telling you, you need to relax more.” She gives him a squeeze and presses her lips, feather-light, to his temple. He would simply have to deal with the attention.

“Roderich!”

Here comes Julia, barreling down a grassy knoll to meet him instead of simply walking the rest of the path. It hasn’t been so many moons since they’ve seen each other - six months, maybe more - it was always harder to keep track through the slow winter months, even harder still to get him to come outside when there was no green on the ground. Social butterfly that she is, it feels much longer for her to have been without a singular Austrian to bother, or shower in [perhaps unwanted] affection.

She knows Roderich has learnt to expect some of her antics over the years, how to step to the side when he hears her running and to always face her from the front to catch her before she did anything else. Thus why she announces herself this time, so that he can ready himself. Rather giddily, and after just about tripping where new pavement met the grass, she bounds up to him with a toothy grin. If it's not obvious that she is happy to see him, maybe it would become clear in the way she grabs hold of his lapels and pulls him down for a brief, but firm, kiss on the mouth. There is an audible smack that he will surely resent.

“Hello, you.”

She didn't really know what to say, so she just sighed and looked at him with a slightly confused but also stern look. “What makes you say that? You know my history Roderich. If I wasn't empty like you say it, I wouldn't be sitting here drinking tea with you..." She said it in a calm tone, but he could tell that the subject was difficult for her. She paid a lot of attention to how others thought about her and she also thought it would be better if everyone thought she was cold and emotionless. That way no one would ever really get close to her and she couldn't really hurt anyone.

    Feliciano knew Roderich wasn’t good with such matters, but honestly sometimes things just. Really got to him, even if he tried to fight it. But god did he feel bad for just bawling like a baby in front of the Austrian. There were a lot more important things he could be focusing on, but here he was trying to console Feliciano. It was hard to talk like this and even understand him especially since his upset rambling had been in Italian anyways- So he snapped out of his upset stupor when his shoulders were grabbed. He couldn’t tell Roderich, he just couldn’t. He’d sound ridiculous. “Ah- Mi dispiace...Uhm- M-Maybe Venezia is just...Flooding again. Yeah, that might be why..?” Not a complete lie, but still a lie regardless.
