planning and implementing intervention with my client.
Planning intervention was not as bad as I had enough assessment done on my client and I knew the aims and goals the client had, therefore, my intervention was based on all the facts I have gathered on the client.
I had some information on the client’s diagnosis from the lectures we had in class which aided in my intervention planning and implementation.
The client was handled well as she shown fair motivation for participation in therapy and assessment as such as she felt like there is nothing much that can be done for her until her injury has healed.
treatment was done at the client’s ward as the client felt comfortable there and she needed to be done until they have given her medication which was running late on that day.
The curtains were used for privacy as the client was participating in a lower limb dressing activity.
Due to the act that the client has no voluntary movement on the lower limbs transferring from the bed to the chair was difficult. He, therefore, could not transfer himself independently he needed maximum assistance with transfers and he showed signs of poor physical endurance as she got tired with the first 2 minutes of the transfers.
The client seems to be worried about the fact that he cannot move his legs as the doctor said he will have to be operated upon once his pressure sore has healed therefore his motivation is decreased as his pressure sore is not healing that much for a 2 months wound.
The has a good static sitting balance, therefore, making it easier to dress in a long sitting position without any back support.
