Okay so I’ve been getting a lot of asks about what my opinion is about this whole B.I. being taken out of Ikon to cover up YG’s shit. Honestly I’ve never been a fan of any kpop company that has ever been a company. Every kpop company has it’s own problems in it’s self, but the MAIN thing to take away from this whole ordeal is that there are going to be monsters like YG in this type of kpop crazed world. Why? He knows and lots of other companies know that by using one group they could possibly make millions. That’s how it works, you debut groups not necessarily for their ‘talent’, it’s more for the money that can be earned by these CEO’s. Yes you can say that JYP and PLEDIS give their idols a chance to show their own talents, but the fact is most companies say no to those things because they don’t know if it will sell. What I have gathered from the most from YG over the past nearly 8 years of being in kpop that he out of all the other kpop companies is the MOST greedy. We were first shown this with Park Bom, he chose Bom to be the villain in that scandal because he knew it would look bad on him if it got out that he didn’t care for his idols mental health. I wasn’t necessarily surprised by how long it took for him to get rid of seungri, you wanna know why? Seungri and almost all of Big Bang nearly worshipped YG, and by that you can tell he has his favorites in the company. He knows who worship and who make him the most money. Ikon I feel like he wanted them to be successful just like Big Bang so he wouldn’t have to worry about money, but it didn’t really happen. (No hate on ikon obviously, because I love those boys to death) Big Bangs success was YEARS of hard work, so was 2ne1’s. YG has always been a shit promoter, almost every company I’ve seen for the past couple of years are fucking awful at it. I have many different feelings about all the companies in Kpop, some of them I can rant about all day about how much they suck and treat their idols. The one thing I will say is that ever since the Park Bom scandal is that YG has ALWAYS been the company I hated the most, and I don’t hate things legitimately unless I have a reason or I can feel there’s a reason to. After the scandals and criminal acts from seungri and now this bullshit with B.I. I knew I was right for hating him more than any other company in the big leagues. He is disgusting on so many levels that if I ever met him face to face I would probably punch him in the throat. I don’t support YG. I never have since the scandal of Park Bom. All YG artists deserve a TEN TIMES better CEO than that disgusting person like him. I would love to see PSY pick up all the YG artists and welcome them to his P NATION. Also after this if B.I. Is actually forced out of Ikon, I want him to go into P NATION and rub it into YG’s face that he can not use him as a toy for his own mistakes. That’s what that man deserves.
