In this first first day of 2018 let me say a couple of things (I'm not good with words, I'll try my best)

I've started this blog almost as a joke, half convinced I would have abandoned it in a couple of weeks. Well, not only it's still up and running (mostly on queue), I've also had so many satisfactions and met some amazing people in this fandom:

First of all @raxilia5running 💜 without you I wouldn't be here. Thank you for rambling with me about Otabek and JJ and then adding Georgi in the mix, coming up with this beautiful ot3, shaked, not stirred. This pairing started totally as a joke "hahaha, can you imagine how much drama Georgi and JJ would bring? Otabek would be so done" and then took place in our hearts, giving me so many feelings I still can't believe. Thank you, you're a beautiful strong person and you deserve all the best (and all the Georgi The God™ Popovich)

Otalerovich pregnancy drabble pregnant Georgi! ....Trans Georgi in there somewhere.

Georgi was a world champion on the ice, an athlete who had been through more than the average set of challenges set before him, and he’d surely been given the patience and virtue of someone who could handle difficult situations. He could climb a mountain through stormy weather and defeat beasts in the night if need be…. But what he couldn’t do nowadays… was a trip to the grocery store.

Eight months pregnant, carrying bags upon bags of groceries, he’s been called ma’am way too many times to be comfortable with and can now only fit in female maternity wears. It’s gotten to be too much.

But h’es home now, he’s finally made it into the house on the snowy day, out of breath with a red face and grunting.  Finally, he can get started on cooking dinner for his two boys, and he can put his feet up once he gets the soup on the stove. He’s honestly sure they’re going to be stuck in his boots from how swollen they are.

“Woah! Georgi!” Calls a voice behind him, making him turn his head, though he has to wobble to the side to see who’s behind him. Otabek is running up beside him, grabbing one of the bags from his arms. “If you needed to go to the store, you should have asked us to go! You can’t be lifting that much!”

“I didn’t think you two were going to be back for a few hours, I was going to make you dinner. What are you guys doing home?” Georgi asks, surprised to see his boyfriends around honestly.

Jean snatches up the remaining bags, almost competitively from Georgi to get more than Otabek. “We got out of practice early so we could come make you dinner. Why aren’t you laying down? You’re supposed to be on bedrest.”

It was true, Georgi was told to be laying down and alternating sides every two hours, but he couldn’t take it anymore. After a full week of doing that, he was so sick of just having the walls to look at, he needed to get out. “I know, I know. But my back hurt so bad. I needed to walk. It’s much better right now. I promise.”

Otabek has a look of disapproval, but he’d been the most protective out of the three of them, while Jean had been the worried one the entirety of the pregnancy. Georgi takes a deep breath as he steps in, grunting as he tries to bend over to take boots off. “Nope, I’ve got you.” Otabek helps him, setting the groceries down.

By the time Georgi had gotten out of the bedroom from changing into some not-so-sweaty clothing that was more comfortable and much less dysphoric, there was some grilled cheese and soup on the coffeetable and pillows on the couch for him. Jean gestured for him to sit as he fluffed all the cushy couch cushions. “Come on, put your feet up. They’ve gotta be fucking swollen as hell by now.”

“Jean, language.”

“Fucking swollen as heck. Whatever.”

Georgi didn’t hesitate to take up the pillow seat, careful in sitting, as it took an angle and some deep breaths, as leg spasms and false contractions had been what put him in bedrest to begin with. He carefully lays back and instantly feels the throbbing in his feet begin, Otabek sitting at the other side of the couch pulls them up onto his lap and starts massaging them. “Bekkaaaa…..” Georgi sighs, rubbing his eyes as he sets a hand on his tummy. “You don’t need to….”

“Jean made dinner, and I’ll rub your feet. Okay? Eat up. You two must be hungry.” 

Though he would protest, he enjoyed the fact that these two worried about him so much, and cared so much to do so. His head rested against the arm of the couch as he relaxed, it felt so good, it almost ached in his back a little bit. Yet there was some bumping up front that caught his attention. “Oh! Boys! Come here! She’s at it!”

She hadn’t kicked in forever, moved yes, but not fully kicked. It was due to the fact that there was much less room in this giant stomach, and she didn’t have room to. But right now? She seemed excited. Maybe it was for the cheese.

Jean-Jacques fLUNG himself across the table to put a hand on that tummy, Otabek crawling up the couch to feel beside him as Georgi smiles at the two of them. They watched carefully for the stomach to move and for the kicking to continue. 

God. Georgi loves his family so much already.
