the season eight finale was like "brooke has twins! haley reopens karen's cafe! mouth has a tv show!" and now literally two minutes into the season nine opener we've got a burning building, a dan scott and chris keller duo, chase blood splattered in the back of a police car, quinn and clay screaming at each other, brooke smashing everything, haley crying in a morgue and julian getting beaten up?????? you wot mate???

i get that the writers have to work around the restrictions of actors' availability but nathan being abducted and held for ransom by some kind of eastern european basketball mafia??? THAT'S the route they went with???

one tree hill is so wild how has it gone from the absolute trauma of brooke almost drowning trying to save people from a crashed car and having to be resuscitated whilst meanwhile quinn is getting attacked and shooting someone in self defense straight into haha girls gone wild at the hen do 🤪🤪 with literally no segue between the episodes skfnsjdfnsg
