let's face it, we all argue with people on the internet even though we know it's futile and stupid and a waste of time because of that tiny little sliver of hope that one of them will someday say "you know what, you're totally right, I hadn't thought of it like that."

What’s your opinion on therians?

I'm not deep in their community by any means, but I support them. They really don't bother me, and if you're Therian, a big old thumbs up from me. I don't really see a reason to be against them either, so yeah.

Honestly this is why gender essentialism and the idea that men are just inherently evil and need to die hurts not just progress privileged men could make and actively harms every marginalized man feminists and progressively-minded women profess to want to protect, but tons of people who arent men who are perceived as men, who fall into categories of "man" or "masculine" in some way, who can't engage with the narrow ideas of womanhood our society has that so many feminists simply perpetuate, etc. That mindset is at its core just reinforcement of social norms and power structures already in place and there's nothing particularly revolutionary about it.
