Admin L:Ā First of all, I feel really bad for Baekhyun. I wish I could give him a big hug and tell him that everything will be ok. Its because of what happened that heās going to feel that this was his fault. He will probably think that none of what happened would of occurred if he hadnāt gone. Though it wasnāt Ā his fault. Saesang fans do not know the meaning of privacy, the only thing that matters them is seeing their precious Oppa. In all honesty I think those kinds of fans need help if they think that kind of stalking is ok. They need to realize that if they keep this up EXO is going to wind up being very scared of them and with that they are going to be scared of fans as whole even the ones that arenāt saesangs. I wish someone would tell them that their actions are hurting their idol and what they are doing does not show that they love their idol but the complete opposite. I wish that there would be some kind of law that would help keep saesangs fans away from idols in their personal life. Im honestly really truly afraid for EXO, I wish I could do something to protect them from the things saesangs do but sadly thereās not much that I could being that Iām not even in the same country.
I really want saesangs to try and picture this.
How would they feel if someone was following them around constantly?
Invading their home and taking pictures of them when they try and do the daily activities in their lives?
How would they like being touched and harassed?Ā
They never think about what idols feel though, they forget that their humans as well.
This situation upsets me greatly, I just send my love to EXO and pray for them to stay strong especially Baekhyun at the moment.
Admin M: They arenāt fans. They are stalkers, hateful, and I dunno about you, but thatās not the definition of a fan. Like the rest of you, I am beyond done with these things happening again and again (and seemingly nothing being done to prevent it from recurring.) It seems like we can do nothing, though. Sasaengs donāt care about what regular fans think, and all our howling for them to stop seems to just spur them on.
However, Iāve seen a few worrying posts here and there on tumblr and would just like to say: No one deserves to die or get viciously hurt, regardless of what theyāve done. Yes, I know the boys and their families donāt deserve to be harassed and threatened either. Sasaengs have issues - thatās relatively self-evident at this stage - and I am not excusing or defending them. But no one should be told (or tell anyone else) that they donāt deserve to breathe. They need help, and people telling them to go and die probably isnāt going to help the matter.Ā

This isn't as much a request as much as it is an honest question. You said in an earlier scenario you think that Chanyeol and Kris are actually quite insecure about their looks. What makes you think that? If that's more a request or something, I'm so sorry and I will be perfectly happy to wait and I'm so sorry for cluttering up your inbox! I just couldn't decide if this was a request or not.

Reasons Admin M thinks Chanyeol and Kris are quite insecure about their looks - a ramble by Admin M
Thereās a few reasons, to be honest. Some of them may be the result of my over-analysing and wishful thinking, but Iāll leave that judgement up to you! Most of the 2+2 = INSANE THEORY stuff is Chanyeol based, fyi.
There was a post circulating around tumblr/twitter a few weeks ago about Chanyeol, and the back-handed love heās been shown by āfansā (you can read it here if you havenāt already). Now obviously it canāt be taken at face value, as fan statements and accounts tend to be fan opinions, but reading bits of it got to me, as it were. I fully believe that a lot of the time, people as consistently super-happy as Chanyeol arenāt really that happy deep down, if only because it would be exhausting and life isnāt 100% brilliant, therefore giving people reasons to not be all smiles - so I think that our happy-virus isnāt all that happy-virusy. I wouldnāt be either, and I doubt the rest of us would be too, as idol life is utterly insane. And I apply the same ālogicā - I use the word logic very loosely here - with confidence in his looks.
The message from the Chinese fan says that he didnāt smile for days after people said he looked bad with his new haircut. In my eyes, if he was 100% confident in his looks, I donāt think it would have hurt him that much - heād have walked it off because he knew how good he looked, if that makes sense? Iām not saying everyone whoās confident with their face/body is immune to self-doubt by any means, but Iām just not sure it would have affected him as much if he thought he was the living embodiment of Adonis.
Another side of this is the wishful thinking part. It applies to both Kris and Chanyeol - as my two main biases, I hope deep down that they arenāt that boastful, as itās really not an attractive trait in my eyes. I think a lot of the boasting/saying how handsome they are comes from the self doubt mentioned earlier (Iām also thinking Kris has it too, but I canāt really give you a good reason for that - my fangirl mentality projecting things, probably), but I also think it comes from having to make up for other things, and it gives them something to talk about.
Chanyeol and Kris arenāt main dancers or main vocals, and while thatās not the be all and end all, rappers + leaders donāt make for much conversation on shows. So, they bring in the face thing because a) theyāre both handsome (obviously thatās subjective to personal taste) and b) there isnāt much else to say without getting personal, and they arenāt as strong as others in the main areas so it gives them something to balance it out with. They talk about their looks at length because they donāt think they have much else of worth to sayĀ - I think all of EXO have lapses in the self-worth area at times. They have people telling them they arenāt good enough constantly in rehearsals etc (I assume, as apparently telling someone theyāre awful is a motivational tool) and Iām sure that seeps in to their mentality. So that might add to them not having confidence in other areas and going on about their bone structures. Besides, idol rappers arenāt often taken as seriously as āproperā k-hiphop rappers, so they really do have to push the whole attractive spiel.
Also preeeetty sure the face thing is pushed by SM so they can drag in fangirls like myself and make money, but thatās a different, even more cynical story for another day.
