watching Leverage for the first time and it's funny cuz like

through fandom osmosis, I was aware of The Trio. folks I follow (and Red from OSP) would not shut up about the Trio. Spy, tech guy, the muscle. Polyshipping out the wazoo; very fun, a nice twist on usual fandom shipping dynamics.

I was vaguely aware there was another guy. Older white dude. Sure. Probably the more protagonist-y protagonist, the leader, and kinda generic for it. That's all born out.

Somehow the fandom entirely failed to mention the other woman in the party. Which would make sense; she's kiiiind of a generic femme fatale spy lady. Except for the absolutely hilarious concept where she's a terrible actor unless she's conning someone.

i fucking knew helly was gonna lie. as soon as they started talking about what they saw in their outies’ worlds, i felt it in my bones.

because how can she trust anyone else? let alone herself??? how can anyone trust her, when she knows her genes are the thing that got them into this in the first place????

i think that’s why she’s so insistent that her and her outie are different people. and why she’s so eager to abandon helena eagan to the wolves. she doesn’t want to be her. she knows she’s different.

unpopular opinion：actually imo the version hawke describes anders in dai as "he's not just a monster or a hero" is quiet ok, because i view this from a "yeah he is just a person neither too romanticize or too villainize is a good way to truly understand a person" angle…? but perhaps it's also because i am a very new player haven't participated all those crazy discourses in the past, and i can understand why many people don't like this haha. bypass the production difficulties i think the most ideal situation maybe is this dialogue can have more divide and nuanced versions

I’m once again begging y’all to understand this. Do you see what we did? Queering a straight text has historically been a radical act against heteronormativity undertaken by fans in a way that purposely undermines the straight author. THIS is the queering of a straight text done by the WRITERS because they saw the fans doing it and fucking agreed it should be done, purposely SUPPORTING the QUEER FANS. THIS is fucking RADICAL.

On dude days: what if I'm just a trans man? What if this is all really just on days I feel less crappy and im just being dramatic? On girl days: what if I'm actually just Cis and im making all this up for attention? Yeah I can most definitley just continue living like this forever, haha yes just a Cis girl here no worries. On nb day: what if it's just that I'm nonbinary and I just feel diffrent levels of dysphoria? Maybe I overreacted by telling the 3 people I trust that I'm genderfluid.
