i'd just like to say that your textures are amazing thank you <3 if possible could you do a texture tutorial for both light&dark textures? i'd like to make my own but i dont know how to
Aye, I’m glad you like them! I really have a “weird” process for making textures and I believe they’re not that much really cool, but I’ll give some tips for making your own.
—For lighting textures, brushes are the best. Being preset brushes or others, just makes some random spots on your canvas and then play with blur filters. I use gaussian and motion blur. I’d recomend to check my favorite brushes at DA, because those are what I use to make any kind of textures.
—For stock textures, such as the latest packs I’ve uploaded, I use stocks from Flicker Commons and other sites with free public domain images. I play around A LOT with blending modes to create some effects and I add lighting textures so the final result isn’t that plain. For example, in the last pack I posted (Dreams & Nightmares) I mixed stock images with some layers I painted by myself with brushes (that you can find on the link I provided).
—This site is great for making galaxy/nebula textures.
Really, I don’t have much else to say. I just pick a random brush and start painting some layers, add blur filters and play around with blending modes. It’s a matter of experimentation.
Hi, on your tutorial for the smokey gif thing you said to "set the group to Screen" how exactly do you do that?
That's not mine tutorial but I can explain :)
Ok first you need to click on the icon in red circle to create a new group but before that click on the top layer so that group would be placed at the top of all layers.
then right click on any layer and choose "select similar layers" like on the picture above. Now when all the layers are selected just drag and drop them into the group folder.
And now when all layers are in the same group, select group (click on the group folder) and from the drop down menu above choose screen like in the photo
And that's it :)

I'm so glad you guys like my tutorial on ears. Is there other things you guys would like to see from me?
