🌕 Definition: A term under the otherchain umbrella where an altertype is involuntary on one/some integral levels, but voluntary on another/other levels. 🌑 This can apply to all "identify as/with" alterhumanity, and be coupled with other forms of alterhumanity as well. Such as through lifestyle, subculture, presentation etc. Additionally multiple alterhuman terms can work! Such as saying you have a mental kintype of lemons, and an emotional linktype of lemons. 🌙 Examples;

- "I am a psychological kin of Mermaids, so I've chosen to start incorporating marine themes into my lifestyle. Making me a mermaid on a cultural level as well."

- "Due to being physically and biologically canine, I've started incorporating dogs into my religious practice, so I voluntarily identify as a canine spiritually."

- "Autumn links daisies on a physical level, and later realized it has a hearttype of them on an emotional level." 🪲 Etymology:

"irides" from iridescence, a phenomenon of certain surfaces that appear gradually to change colour as the angle of view or the angle of illumination change, source(link). Representing how the identity is different on different integral levels.

Flag ID: A flag consisting of three large diagonal segments tilted to the right. The left segment is in turn made of two segments divided by the horizontal middle. Symbol ID:

A png image consisting of three "parts". There are two three-segmented chains tilted towards the right. In between the chains there is a beam originating from a multilayered star. The core of the star has 4 points, the second layer has 4 points a bit away from the core. The lower left point of the second layer ebbs out into a beam. The third layer of the star has 8 thinner points, The outermost layer are curved spikes a bit away from the 4 points of the core star. It is all coloured black. End ID.

A divider of autumn leaves and dots, varying from maple to oak leaves in a light yellowish orange and a brownish red. End ID.
