Yes I know I haven't properly introduced Ruaidhrí in the fic but I forgot I drew this and needed to share it EXPEDITIOUSLY

I will get better pics of Lyon and Loid at some point bc my camera autofocused them OUT OF FOCUS bc I CAN'T WIN but y'know

Ayhan struggles to tell faces apart bc Duviri meant masks on EVERYONE and also meant everyone had a specific place, and you would not see them outside that specific place.

They mostly get by using context clues, color palettes, & specific accessories/haircuts. This works fine until you see three different men with the same haircut in different styles in the same place. They are Confused™ and Fibonacci is not as helpful as he thinks he is

I have noticed an interesting split re: the drifters I've collected in my 'others drifters' tag.

About half of them are Long Sleeve Ride or Diers. About half follow the Marisha Ray School of thinking: Sleeves are BS.

And there's overlap (and t shirt enjoyers) obviously, but it is very funny seeing all the gorgeous art and having a secret giggle about the contrast

SO for very scientific reasons:

sleeves yes or no

marisha was right and I will stand no fabric on these guns (no sleeves)

you can pry these sleeves from my cold dead arms (yes sleeves

nuance/both/bald/etc.

Ayhan is a long sleeves enjoyer. Sleeves give the Good Texture of their shirt but. Y'know. More. The only exception is in extreme heat for 'I don't want heat stroke' reasons.

OK SO I have been thumbnailing/sketching/iterating on this idea for literally DAYS while house-and-dog-sitting for a friend and finally was able to sit at my PC and start the digital process!!

It looks like a COMPLETE rainbow spaghetti mess right now bc I haven't done any value placements or base layers yet BUT

Did a lot of silhouette tweaking/form and foreshortening work in that stage.

I'm so hyped about this, dudes

Like, so hyped I'm sharing a WIP shot which I NEVER do bc I either forget or feel self conscious

But I have to stop for today bc of several reasons, most pressing being "ow my hand"

I need y'all to understand I'm sitting at my PC blinking in surprise as this is appearing on my screen. I'm partially sharing this shot in case it all goes downhill from here lol
