I love how you can see Izuminokami Kanesada and Horikawa Kunihiro in Hijikata’s room in Hakuouki Otogisoushi

(I could only find HD screenshots with the Viet sub)

you can tell that it’s Kane-san because of the little heart-shaped kojiri (scabbard tip)

This is the game version and the real-life one just for comparison

I’m not sure if the wakizashi in Hijikata’s room is Kunihiro or a Kanesada wakizashi. Since it was speculated that Hijikata might have owned multiple Kanesada blades and our only description of Kunihiro is that Hijikata requested that Kane-san be made similar to Kunihiro, I’m not sure if it meant only the blade or every part of the sword... (￣ω￣;) (I still like to think Kunihiro is the waki in his room tho)

I really wish we got to see the inside of Souji’s room cuz maybe we could have seen Yamatonokami Yasusada

well if you're not complaining then can we, collectively, as a fandom, also cry over shiranui's hair. and like.. shiranui in general. i do not see enough of him in the hakuoki tag
