[ANON SUBMISSION] OTP CONNECTION: glasses, signature scent

note: the following is submitted by a lovely anon :) as always, remember to take everything with a grain of salt, and these are just speculations~

As I follow Kai and Krystal pretty closely, I picked up on a few details that I thought would be interesting to share. I am entering into delulu territory so please bear with me.

On Shimshimtapa, Krystal shared details on her ideal type:

"A guy who looks good with horn-rimmed glasses, a white t-shirt, jeans, and black hair. A guy who is fun and has his own signature scent."

I’m certain she wasn’t talking about Kai and up until recently I would’ve never matched this description to him. But just for shipping sake I thought I’d share a few details on Kai that I recently came across that seem to coincidentally match up with Krystal’s description, lol.

In an Ivy club interview Kai mentions: 

Q: first thing you do when you wake up?

KAI: wash face and put on my lenses! i can’t see anything if i don’t put them on. take care of your eyesights, everybody~

Dude has bad eyesight, and I assume that on his off time he would wear specs instead of his lenses. (Although we have yet to come across any photos of him wearing glasses, so maybe he only wears contacts?) 

Then, very recently at the 131201 Nature Republic fan sign, Sehun supposedly made a remark to a fan that caught my attention:

FAN: hunah, noona is also going to own a bubble tea shop!

SEHUN: [serious expression] it’s free for me, right?

(also, while talking, sehun suddenly said)

SEHUN: ah? nice scent… hul, [this is] kai’s scent?

(the fan said she was wearing perfume heavily today and that she uses a mix of male perfume.)

I don’t know if the account is 100%, but if it is, it could possibly mean that Kai has his own signature scent considering how Sehun was able to so quickly pick up on it when he smelled it on a fan at a signing event. I seriously found it odd when I first read that Krystal wanted a signature scent in her ideal type! Like a signature scent, really?! (I don’t know, maybe she means ‘scent’ as in style or persona? If that’s the case then this detail would be irrelevant.)

I thought these little details would be fun to share with fellow Kaistal shippers. I’m certain that she wasn’t talking about him in her description but lol the details do kind of oddly matchup, it’s cute! Again, this is just for fun since there haven’t been any new Kaistal moments for quite some time now :)
