Latest episode (episode 0)!! SO CUTE AHHH
Oldest episode (of considerably less budget and of sh*tpost intent lol, but still amazing and freakin hilarious)
My favourite moment <3 I was teary-eyed. Incredibly beautiful, breathtaking cinematography and writing. Only Rag and Pomni are pictured here but it is truly a stunning moment for all the cast.
Wholesome Zooble moment (WE LOVE OUR SUPPORTIVE FRIENDO)

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A FREE PROMOTION. I DO NOT WORK FOR THIS CREATOR. I AM JUST A FAN WHO REALLY ENJOYED THIS WORK AND WANT TO SHARE MY THOUGHTS ON IT! (and if ppl like it too, awesomesauce :D). (.... Also, this was just a spur-of-the-moment review, so I apologize if it's kinda just word vomit LOL.)
Ok, I know no one reads these, but... I just wanted to share my appreciation for this amazing show I recently discovered: The Amazingly Bizarre Circus by Bigfish Studios. Holy shoot guys... It's actual PEAK, A GEM, LIKE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW. INCREDIBLE. IT. IS. (and freakin' underrated, I've never heard anyone talk abt it before???!! which is a shame because it might just be one of the best works of fan work, not only for TADC but for a fandom, ever.
For those of you who don't know it, it's a spinoff of the OG show made with puppets (some from the official shop, others completely handmade - which I know, is crazy effort!), loosely basing itself off of the actual narrative in terms of episode themes, but with completely original spins in character writing, relationships and dialogue. I found it while aimlessly scrolling online... came for the OTP which I love (you can prob tell based on the images), stayed for the incredible craftsmanship and writing. Seriously, there is so much love put into this show, even if it did start off as a sorta sh*tpost kinda series (yeah.... the very first episode was.... something. Giant Pomni penis.), but eventually evolving with animation, lighting, actual VOICE ACTORS (Ragatha really sounds like Rags, and Bubble, Caine and Kinger too)
It's so awesome how they put the story together and really tried to tie loose ends that were pretty unresolved or not-developed-on ideas of the OG show (ex. Zooble and Jax's interactions, Gangle's masking, and Ragatha's relationship with her mom in a nuanced way), but also, JAX IS ACTUALLY AN EVOLVING AND, DARE I SAY, PERSONABLE CHARACTER!!!!
I mean, don't get me wrong, I do love Jax as a character in the OG show, but I sometimes find he's not really balanced (esp in comparison to other characters developments),and at times I find his personality a bit too grating to root for his development (still a good character, just... well, you know). But what I find this show does well is that it gives him a coherent arc based on his interactions, AND self-realization AND improvement, which isn't solely based on characters that haunt the narrative. Like, it is incredibly well done, and I applaud the creator for this; that is really hard to pull off in a believable and canon-coherent way, but you did it!
Yeah, last thing before this gets too long, this entire show feels like if TADC were both canon-coherent, but improved. Like everything feels much more natural, fun (lots of swearing but i mean, it lwk fits), and balanced, but also something I can see happening in the real show. It felt like I was watching what the show could have been if it had more airtime (it is longer than the show's episodes), development, and balance between character arcs (everyone has a piece, except maybe Kinger at times, but still has his moments.)
It's just URRRRGGHH so great and I hope it gets the attention it deserves before AND after the ending of the show.... truly, underrated gem. It is out on YouTube, a few episodes left to go ! Can't wait, much applause and bravos to the creator and all involved :)
