god I fucking love Lotor and his lady Galra generals
Every time new Lotor content is released I become a Lotor-Only blog.
I love the wave of new fanart that comes whenever more Lotor content is released. I’m living.
ngl i kinda wish lotor’s teeth were more gnarly looking but um. still cute.
This may come as a bit of a shock to you, but there’s actually no right way to love a villainous character. You saying you think Lotor is an interesting character because he’s “ruthless and has no redeeming qualities” does not make you better or smarter than anyone else. It’s one way to like him, yes, but it isn’t the only way.
For example: I like the idea that everyone is capable of doing good and seeking forgiveness. I like the idea that people can change (even though nobody else is obligated to forgive them for the bad things they’ve done). I love redemption arcs for villains, even if they’re never actually forgiven by other characters.
Some people like villains for their potential to be redeemed, some like villains for all the horrible shit they do in the present, and some people like villains because maybe they represent a morally-gray area. There’s no right way to love a villain, and 9/10 times saying there’s only one correct way makes you look really fucking pretentious.
“So what would make you hate Lotor?” idk maybe if he hurt Coran or something.
when you really love lotor but you also don't want any of the paladins to get hurt so the only situation where you’ll be happy is on the off-chance that lotor is redeemed and joins the paladins to fight against the galra army
