AD-HOC Resident: Nightshade

This resident is actually a mass of light-absorbing particles that clings to walls and floors via intermolecular forces. It often mimics a feminine form, as that seems to be what is popular around the shelter. Mostly harmless, curious and nosy, she ventures into the facility often to observe and learn. Her containment quarters have dim mood lighting and plenty of sheer curtains to make interaction easy.

Since it is only mimicking the shape of a human form, its movements can sometimes be uncanny or vague.

Name Change

Since OSHA actually exists in the world of OTSHA and is kind of a weird nebulous antagonist (this is not a safe place to work), maybe the Organization for the Treatment and Shelter of Humanoid Anomalies doesn’t have the best name.

So now, it’s AD-HOC Shelter (maybe)

“Ad hoc” (Latin: after this) teases thoughts of a hopeful future for a world where demi-humans and humans can live side by side and help each other grow. This privately funded shelter only the beginning of this shining vision.

OTSHA Resident: Clover the Cockatrice

We found this one hiding in the dark alleyways of the city, crying between two statues of unfortunate homeless men. We wasted no time in bringing her in and setting up a room.

She is currently one of the only residents required to wear PPE of her own. The AI girls say she has beautiful golden eyes. A few workers like to schedule visits just to dote on her. Though shy around most people, she is grateful for the attention and care that she receives.

Nawa Sekhet - Sphinx OTSHA Security Guard

You need something strong to keep anomalies safe. Especially when the world is out to get them.

No one knows how we managed to hire on a sphinx. The rumor is that someone from HR found her while touring the pyramids, and accidentally figured out her riddles, obligating her to grant his requests.

When off duty, Nawa behaves much like a domestic cat: keeping herself clean, ignoring other people, and hunting large game. She is half Greek, half Egyptian. She does purr, but is hard to please.

Her hair is dyed.

Based on previous observations, Resident 102 “Kabitte” may be pacified by groping a  intimate physical con  the feminine 

She’s just a big pervert.

This experiment will verify whether a legitimate human is more effective than a mannequin or AI shell. Kabitte ignored the mannequins.

I got a new phone so I guess it’s time to draw her in what I guess is now the OTSHA universe.

Fantasie is fast, durable, and efficient at most tasks, but easily distracted and always pressuring Yushiko to buy her new gadgets (wireless charger! Sound system! Mood lights!). Her Otterbox interferes with her VR capabilities.

Cantabile is still very much a capable fairy despite her aged hardware. Yushiko has put her on standby for the time being, after transferring her data and subscription.
