Come to the Ottawa Street North farmers Market on July 20 to find out! 8am to 2pm Many people are familiar with yarn...but not the process behind making it! What does a wool fleece feel like right after shearing? How does it become yarn? This Saturday at the Farmer's Market, we will have a variety of different fleeces on hand for folks to check out. Some will be raw fleece, meaning untreated and direct from shearing. Some will be washed and ready to spin. We will also have 1) some locally grown, spun and hand dyed yarn for sale. 2) a space for folks to sit and knit/crochet 3) a space for folks to spin and join us in the month long Tour de fleece challenge!
