Day 5 - I had a rugged hillwalk planned yesterday but I postponed it an hour (and consequently ended the walk in darkness) because when I drove past Otter Ferry this morning, THIS was the view!! It begged an hour of my time :)

Day 1 - Gawd I love a ferry. I'm spending the week in Cowal, and although I could get there from Fife via Loch Lomond and the Rest and Be Thankful, I opted for the Gourock-Dunoon ferry because a ferry ride always feels like the start of an adventure. And because, let's face it, ferries are grand things anyway.
The second pics shows the approach to Otter Ferry over the insanely steep and winding hill road just as the weather was on the turn yesterday.
