I really enjoyed the suggestions of worldbuilding in Ottermore. The gothic horror vibes of an old haunted mansion, the questions of what we owe to our family (to live and die the way they did) vs what we owe to ourselves (to not do that), and the horror of being a pregnant woman in this structurally dangerous building with only your slightly deranged father-in-law and your beloved husband (who seems increasingly susceptible to his father’s delusions). Just the thought of it is terrifying
