Literally all of the reasons people hate Takumi can be justified as trauma/manipulation by Iago/whatever demon possesses him in Conquest. Like unstable and guarded though he may be, he's ultimately a good character and hating him is kinda lazy imo

All the nohrian and all the hoshidan children went through the same thing as him, the nohrians probably had it a little bit worse, and the possession only happened after his hate consumed him in the ending chapters of conquest.

I still need to get Duel Links for my phone! I was actually playing Legacy of the Duelist for the PS4 earlier! I should be downloading Duel Links later this week though when I am done with Kingdom Hearts and Fire Emblem! I will be looking forward to you sending me to the shadow realm then!
