#ouatmilah#milah#baelfire#ouatmanip#ohmmmmg idk what to tag this because i literally just want to post nice things and be happy#and i get that this isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea#but look i have a lot of feelings about milah and bae and her feelings and regrets#and her love for her son and her recognition of her mistakes#and his fierceness to go to battle for her when he thought killian had killed her#and look i am an arty person and i got it from my parents for sure#and so many of my earliest memories are of helping my ma decorate pillow cases with fabric crayons#or making christmas ornaments with her#or watching over my da's shoulder as he painted a little mermaid face-cut-out thing for a church fair#and idk man baelfire literally came at a fearsome pirate at least twice his age who was backed up by a deck full of his crew#like literally was ready to take off his head because he thought that this was the man who killed his mother#with a drawing of her in his hand#and i get that he didn't know the truth about her leaving#but if she were awful to him - if he had nothing but awful memories of her...idk it just doesn't add up#he loved her and he got his art from her and look i just have a lot of feelings all the time#also i feel like i should link to that thread in the au where killian's telling milah about him drawing and about his bravery bc lbr#that's what made me do this#patch tool sea change
