The blue and white alleys of the Oudaias
Day 07: In Rabat 2
Continuing the weekend of fun in Rabat.
We woke around 11am and along with Nadia and Basma we headed to Oudayas. This place really reminded me of Greek Islands and once you see the photos, you'll know why...
It's like I went to Rabat via Santorini or something. We laughed about it with Nadia.
Even from the outside it looks amazing.
So this didn't work but it still looked great and the design is so pretty.
Basma and Nadia
Basma and I XD Bad hair day. :(
And then....
Nadia being a tourist
And we followed this path to TEAAAAAAAAA! <3
That's the Bouregrag river. The ocean isn't too far away though.
The view across.
THE ACTUAL TEA WITH MINT! It's sweet and really tasty.
And that's pretty much it for photos.
We went to the Welcome party after that. It was pretty quiet and I met another half dozen people whose names I'm really bad at remembering. T-T
There was a Russian girl from St. Petersburg named Palina and another girl from Romania that was pretty cool. I met another coming from an LC in Australian but she's actually from Shanghai. It was funny cause after the shock that there's Jpop and Kpop fans from and in Europe she asked me if I know Super Junior. We squealed. It happens when you meet fellow fans and you both listen to the same groups. She's a really nice girl and we went from crepes after that.
French crepes are not nearly as good as Greek ones. But I have high standards. I like good food.
After lunch/food we headed to the train station to return to Casablanca.
We chatted about how she wants to go to an AIESEC conference, MENA, in Egypt (it's the last one of its kind) but she needs a Visa and if she can't get it we could stop by Italy on the way back home. Who knows?
We haven't even properly started the project yet...
