my least favorite part of drawing darkrai of any sort is the red collar jaw thing. realized i could just. not draw that. proceeded to try to integrate the idea into TACM AU

essentially, more "childlike" (as in innocence, curiosity, wonder, etc.) darkrai. ouh hes making me sad i cant. i cant write. uh. man.
also yes darkrai said that it didnt have a childlike phase or whatever bUT. darkrai memories (especially early darkrai memories) should NOT be trusted to be accurate. who knew half sleep-deprived half always-asleep creature half some-other-phase-of-being has some funky issues with its memories
