It was early in the evening when Pepi had went into town as Ouisa. She had hoped that by not going during the middle of the day there would be less people about and she wouldn't get flirted with as much or at all. So far things had been going well for her as she bought things and placed them in her basket.
She hummed quietly as she tried to remember the last few things she had wanted to get while she was out. For some reason they were eluding her and she didn't want to be gone from the estate too long. While she was thinking she wasn't paying close attention to where she was going and bumped into someone. "Es tut mir leid! Are you..." she trailed off as she heard the male she had bumped into chuckle.
"I am quite fine, und you are quite beautiful," he said with a smile. She looked into his eyes, that she could only describe as a brownish gold color, for a moment before looking to the side.
"Danke, but I'm glad you're alright. I should be going now, excuse me," she said before starting to walk once more. He raised a brow curiously and began to walk with her.
"Do you mind if I accompany you for a bit? Or are you in a hurry?" he asked. She glanced at him for a moment before focusing on where she was going.
"I'm not in too much of a hurry, but I don't see why you should trouble yourself with me," she answered. "I only have a few more things to buy and I'll be fine on my own," she added. He chuckled once more.
"Trouble? Vhat makes you zink it is troublesome for me dear miss? " he asked in amusement.
"Surely you have more important things to see to than following me around. You certainly dress as someone of importance," she said. She heard another chuckle from him but tried to ignore it. She stopped, however, when she felt him place a hand on her shoulder. Slowly she turned to look at him.
"Let's just say zat at ze moment I have some free time, und at zis time of day you never know who you may meet," he said. "Und you are quite curious to me," he added with a smile. She sighed inwardly and shook her head slowly.
"Es tut mir leid, but I can't say the same," Ouisa said. "I must leave you and your curiosities and be on my way. I've delayed too much already," she said as she took a hand off her basket to remove his from her shoulder. Before she could let go of his hand he took hers in his and brought it to his lips to kiss.
"Ah, forgive me for being a nuisance to you, but can I least know ze name of such an interesting beauty as yourself?" he asked as he kept her hand trapped in his. She turned away, refusing to give in to his charms.
"Nein...I must finish my errand and get home before it gets too dark," she said. "Let me go."
"As you vish," he said as he let go of her hand. "Should ve met again, und I hope zat ve do...I am Salazar," he said. She began to walk away from him without looking back.
"Farewell, Salazar," she said simply.
