The Prompts
Prompts are optional but encouraged! Use them individually, or mix and match. They're just ideas to get you started. You can interpret and use them however you like.
The event that @ettawritesnstudies & I put together yesterday will be tagged under #eh positivity event. So if you guys want to either blacklist the event or follow it, that is what we’ll be posting it as.
But also if you wish to post about it, spread the word, ask something publicly about it, tagging it under that tag would make us more likely to see it since we’re both keeping an eye on the tag!
Each day of the week has a specific theme, and there are three prompts to choose from for each day - a word prompt, a scenario prompt and a dialogue prompt.
It doesn’t matter what you create - fan art, drabble, edits, full out chapter fics. As long as it’s a new creation and FLUFF, it’s welcome!
Get ready to slip those rose-tinted glasses on and come embrace the fluff!

We're bringing a horror movie inspired 3 day event to the SessKag fandom!
Event is held from Tuesday 29th October till Thursday 31st of October.
Each day will feature two horror movie subgenres to use as a prompt. You can choose which appeals to you most! And if you want more inspiration, make sure to check out the horror section of TVTropes!
*
Here are each day's double features to choose from:
Day 1, Tuesday 29th October:
Paranormal horror or Comedy horror
Paranormal horror is the classic staple of the horror movie genre! Think haunted houses or demonic possession and let the ghosts and poltergeists rampage!
Or if you prefer a more light-hearted approach, comedy horror is a good match! Beat the fear away with laughter.
Day 2, Wednesday 30th October:
Gothic or Monster horror
Maybe you want to go old school and get in touch with the classic roots with gothic horror. Sprawling manor houses, unreliable narrators, isolated locations and odd happenings with a whiff of supernatural and a touch of romance are the elements that have made gothic horror a solid staple.
Or perhaps you'd like to explore another kind of classic and write monster horror. This one would work well with the canon setting we already have in Inuyasha, but if you want to spice it up, you could have vampires, werewolves, zombies or mummies or various other kind of classic creepers crawling around!
Day 3, Thursday 31st October:
Action horror or Psychological horror
Let your character's heartbeat speed up as bullets fly and swords swing as they battle for survival.
Or perhaps you want to write slowly creeping dread instead and create the kind of atmosphere that leaves your characters to question: Is something spooky going around them or is it all in their mind?
To conclude our event, I've collected some statistics for you!
The easiest story to guess was Wicked's Unpredictable.
There were two other fics where the right author got most of the guesses: Troll's Start Again and Lost and Found by @drosselmeyerwrites
The hardest stories to guess where Hard Day's Night and Roadblock, which were the only two stories where no one guessed the right author. @chierafied and @shortfry managed to fool everyone!
Here's how well you managed to guess:
Most guesses left on a story: 10 (On @proudhanyou's Anthropological Purposes)
Least guesses left on a story: 6 (On Troll's Start Again & @gingermintpepper's Of Vernal Winds and Second Chances)
Average guesses per story: 7,9
Total guesses left in the event: 95
The author who got the most guesses throughout the event was @drosselmeyerwrites. In joint second are @chierafied, Troll & Wicked.
Here's how all the guesses divvied up:
Most authors guessed on a single story: 7
(Anthropological Purposes by @proudhanyou
Live Today, Die Tomorrow by Walter
Of Vernal Winds and Second Chances by @gingermintpepper)
Least authors guessed on a single story: 3
(Unpredictable by Wicked)
The author who was guessed most often, in 8 stories overall or in other words, in 2/3 of the fics in this event, was @chierafied.
In second place, guessed in 7 different stories is @drosselmeyerwrites. In joint third, guessed in half the stories of the event were Wicked and @deadlyglacier!
The author who got the most wrong guesses was @kaoruhana08, who got as many as 4 guesses on Ain't it exciting, the rumble where you lay? by @deadlyglacier
A fun statistical anomaly was our dear Troll. Troll was guessed at in 5 different stories, and in every one of them they got 2 guesses.
And finally, on @kaoruhana08's A Little Push, Kaoruhana had a 3-way tie with @shortfry and Troll.
But Shortfry and Troll were also the only two people to get a tie again in another story, this time in @gingermintpepper's Of Vernal Winds and Second Chances!

Thank you again everyone who participated, guessed and commented on the stories! I hope you all enjoyed this event!
And of course, the biggest thanks once again go to our fantastic Mystery Authors, who gifted us with such wonderful new stories. Thank you so much! There wouldn't have been an event without you! 💖
