@borgialucrezia This so reminded me of you and our convos about this particular topic :p Summary: Cesare goes to this banquet at Siena hosted by Giovanni Gonzaga, brother of Francesco Gongaza. And Giovanni is asking his friend where are the young pretty women? to which his friend says the answer is there, where Cesare stands. Saying that he attracts women like honey djsdjsjds. So of course Giovanni is bothered by this, all like: who does this guy thinks he is? coming to my party and stealing the female attention away from me? and he is a bishop, a man of the Church! Unacceptable! and he goes to confront Cesare about it, and Cesare is naturally all politeness and charm with his perfect answers that end up leaving Giovanni speechless, not knowing how to deal with it (with him). My favorite part is when one of the ladies asks Cesare if he is suggesting that their conversation is too futile for him? And he goes: No! On the contrary, your beauty moves me so much that I fear that I will lose sight of all my commitments if the discussion continues! (can you believe this bastard Tha??! aaahhhh) to which she responds he is forgiven then, and that she and her friends would leave him and Gonzaga alone to talk. Much to Gonzaga’s chagrin who is all: nooo, wait, stay! and that was hilarious because these ladies were basically like: well, if we are not talking to messire Cesare, then what’s the point in staying here? bye now lmaooo.
