Rogue has spent so much of life with her guard up, afraid to say or do the wrong thing and hurt someone.

With Remy, though? It's different — at least now. She knows her heart's safe with him, and that she can let her guard down. It didn't happen all at once, but but bit-by-bit she opened up to him, and he was patient and understanding.

I like to think that Remy gets the unedited version of Rogue. Gut reactions, unfiltered thoughts, random tangents about things she's passionate about that he might not know from the man on the moon. But he listens to her, never judging or trying to quiet her voice. He sees every side of her — the good, the bad, and everything in between — and he's here for it.
