I miss Our Town.

I miss having to sit still for the entire third act while the main characters monologued and broke my heart.

I miss hearing the words ‘something is eternal’ and realizing that’s my cue to turn off the tear ducts.

I miss interrupting the wedding, and making the audience share the absolute joy of a character.

I miss stealing the show for the act II finale for that.

It’s nice to be reminded of it.

I miss finding what made my Character love the wedding sm.

After the show ended, people I never knew told me I was their favorite part bc I made them laugh

I wish I had more time with it so I could show the audience her motive more clearly.

And so rather than just laugh with her, they’d also sympathize.

But that production is over, and I don’t know if I’ll ever play the role again

Today’s little bit of Good Omens love is a bit tangential. But Michael’s Our Town will be available to stream this summer on National Theatre at Home. Hopefully at some point in the future they’ll also do a limited YouTube viewing event like they did with Nye.
