Upon hearing of my upcoming graduation, one of the staff members at the center I went to for eating disorder treatment assured me that our paths would cross again.

3 years later, we reconnected on Instagram. A few months after that, I helped her land a new job. On Monday, she’ll be moving in to the office next to mine.

I missed my treatment anniversaries. To be quite honest, I don’t even remember the exact dates I was admitted anymore.

I think I have finally outgrown my sickness

This afternoon, the associate director of my tx center reached out to me and asked me if I want to write a blog post about LGBTQ folx and eating disorders. So of course, I said yes. But now I’m like “What do I even write on? And how do I write a non-academic article?” Lmao

Submitted my blog post, so now ig we just sit and wait for it to be approved and then posted

My therapist from tx liked two of my art journal pages so much that she asked me to paint some canvases for the group rooms

I got invited to be a part of a recovery group at the tx center and I said yes, but I’m really not sure I need it. Idk what all it will entail, so I guess I’ll see how it goes for a bit and then determine if I want to continue being a part of it
