Alrededor de 150 familias fueron desplazadas ya que no le es permitido entrar a sus apartamentos. Esta es una gran tragedia para ellos porque en estos momentos, no tienen nada con ellos. Todo quedó en casa. Hoy de 1:00 p.m. a 5:00 p.m., habrá una recolección de artículos esenciales en 33-45 90th Street (Courtyard), Jackson Heights, NY 11372. #Alarm #JacksonHeights #QueensNY A seven-alarm fire tore through an apartment building in Jackson Heights, NY, today Tuesday afternoon, leaving nine injured, including five firefighters and four civilians. #OurDistrict34AD At this moment, there are 9 injured, including 5 firefighters. Approximately, 400 FDNY members are there putting out the ferocious fire. According to the FDNY, "the fire broke out on the top floor of the six-story building on 34th Avenue in Jackson Heights around 1PM and quickly spread into the cockloft". The building affected is at 89-01 (A wing) and 89-11 (B wing) 34th Ave and 90th St. In my prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured. We need water and food for the affected neighbors.
