Honestly the most badass thing that I've ever seen happen in a D&D session where I was the DM was when @jojo-internet-homo 's character, Mir, fucking took over an entire mission that 4 other people were assigned to. So the mission is to assassinate this one guy at his own dinner party and also steal some of his information. So basically, Mir is stealing important information from this dude's desk and he fucking opens a drawer and an alarm goes off. So logically, Mir rips open all the other drawers, some of which explode, leaving Mir with about 8 health and no important information. Mir tries to flip the desk in frustration, fails, but in the process feels a keypad at the bottom. He types in a number he found behind a picture frame earlier and gets the information from a secret drawer. Guards are at the door at this point so Mir jumps out a window and lands in some bushes, but loses 5 health. Mir then proceeds to run away, but shit goes down. Meanwhile, at the dinner party in the mansion, there is chaos. The dude is about to kill the group ( Jun, @smolwalnutmerichild 's character, Luna, @caffeinated-trash 's character, Aurora, her brother's character, and Poppy @shining-forevermore 's character ) BUT Aurora manages to calm everyone down (by rolling a nat20 after saying "im gonna roll a 20!") while standing on the table. After communication by using their speaking stones, Poppy runs to Mir but almost faints becAUSE PLOT TWIST, THE FOOD WAS POISONED! Back at the dinner, Luna, Jun, and Aurora have fallen over, along with everyone but the man. He's about to kill them. Mir is enraged. Mir uses the stone of speaking to threaten the guy (the intimidation roll was a 19) and is successful. So here's where we need some context. We're playing a mix of 5th edition and Advanced, and in the world of Advanced, Drows aren't really a thing? Drow's are more so myth and legend than a real race. Mir is a drow. And because I don't give a FUCK about alignments and shit, no Mir is not evil and ALSO most of the gods in my world are Drows, because fuck you that's why. So, Mir says something along the lines of "I am your god, you fucked up." And the guy is fucking Terrified. And Mir gets back to the mansion. Mir walks into the dining room, dramatically throwing open the doors. He climbs on top of a chair, then on top of the table, stepping over Aurora's body. Mir reachs the end where the man is sitting, quivering in fear, and Mir grabs his face. And he says, "Give me a reason I should let you live." And the man can't. And Mir snaps his fucking neck.
