THEY’RE SO UNUSUAL, no. 7. The Go-Go’s, Beauty and the Beat. You might think I’m the kind of guy who would use the word “sublime” but I’m not. It makes me itchy. But damned if “Our Lips Are Sealed” isn’t exactly that, sublime. One of my favorite songs that might play at Kohl’s or over the PA at a swimming pool. Just perfect. And the rest of the album is so strong; I’ve always thought so. It’s hard to be simple. (‘Tis a gift!) And those guitars!
