If you haven't heard of these ladies, Our Native Daughters is one of the most important musical projects going on right now. Consisting of Rhiannon Giddens, Amythyst Kiah, Leyla McCalla, and Allison Russel bring the whole weight of history into their music. I had the opportunity to see them the other night at the National Museum for African American History and Culture and I am still in awe of what we performed on stage.
